We love the look of the chair, it is black leather and all the other parts are black as well. The arm rests could be a bit beefier on the sides, but are still comfortable. The assembly was easy and straightforward. All the needed tools were provided. Overall a great office chair to recommend!

Comfortable office chair!

My current office chair is a flaky mess and worn out, so I was appreciative when Walmart gave me the opportunity to evaluate a chair and give an honest review. The Mainstays Bonded Leather Office Chair is really nice! At the extremely low price that Walmart is selling this for I was not expecting very good quality, but I was really surprised. It was very quick and simple to assemble the chair. Everything is clearly labeled to avoid any confusion while assembling. The screws are all packaged in their own little labeled compartments, and they even included the hex key wrench to put it together with. You can even download an app to help you with the assembling process, but I did not need to. I am impressed that the base is all sturdy metal. The chair feels like good quality also. I am a big, tall guy and this chair is very comfortable. It has a wide range of adjustment. With the chair adjusted all the way up it is almost too tall for me. You can keep the chair in a fixed position by pushing in the metal lever, or pull it out for the chair to recline. You can turn the knob on the bottom of the chair to adjust the tension of the recline. The chair came nicely packaged, and I was really impressed by how all of the parts were neatly arranged in the back of the chair. I like the smaller, mid-back design also since my old chair just seemed too big for the room. Overall, I absolutely love this comfortable office chair and highly recommend it.

Great Chair!

I really like the Mainstays Bonded Leather Mid-Back Manager's Office Chair. It's both comfortable and looks nice. It's not bulky like some rolling office chairs can be, yet it's big enough to make me feel very comfortable. The overall look of the chair is modern yet it would likely complement any style. At an affordable price point, this is a wonderful option for an office chair. The chair came nicely packed with easy to follow instructions that even this impatient/non-direction reader could follow! The seat of the chair is made with memory foam which you can definitely feel when taking a seat - very comfortable. It comes with a level to adjust the height which works seamlessly. Overall, I really like this chair and would recommend it to anyone looking for new office seating!

Comfortable, Sleek Office Chair

I have a small desk and computer in my basement that I use for bills and planning. Nothing super fancy. This chair is the perfect addition to my “office space”. 
Putting the chair together seemed really daunting. There was SO many pieces and I really thought it was going to take me a couple hours. Once I got my pieces organized and the directions out it really went a lot faster than I imagined. In all It probably only took a half hour. The pieces are all labeled and the directions are very easy to follow. 
The chair out together looks great. It makes my space look really legit and I’m very happy with how it all looks together. The chair is not the most comfortable but I definitely won’t have any issues for the few hours I use it. It’s memory foam and not a super squishy desk chair. 
If you are looking for a great looking casual chair I think this is a great option. If we had company over and needed extra seating I wouldn’t hesitate to offer this as extra seating. If you are looking for a home office chair that you’ll use for 8+ hours a day this might be a little too stiff for your needs.

Great

I was very impressed with this Mainstays Bonded Leather Office Manager Chair! Once I saw the price of the item, I wasn’t expecting much in the area of features and detailing. However, I was pleasantly surprised when the chair arrived. I was away when it arrived and my husband had it assembled when I returned home, therefore, I cannot personally speak to the assembly. He said it was one of the easiest items he has ever assembled, so it must have been a good experience. The bonded leather gives the chair a very stylish and more expensive look and feel and would work well with any home or office décor. Incidentally, it is available in black, gray, and brown. I really LOVE the padded arm rests—which are a super-cool feature. It has a gas lift adjustable seat that is very easy to operate and works so smoothly. The chair feels “tight,” well-made, and rolls and maneuvers quietly. The memory foam offers great support and will make such a difference when you spend a lot of time at your computer. I can’t say enough about the awesome features of this chair and I would certainly recommend it to anyone. With a new school year approaching, this would make a wonderful gift for your high school or college student.

Excellent choice for a new office chair

I purchased this chair to use at work. I was able to assemble it in about 30 minutes without any problems with the tool provided. Would recommend this chair to anyone that does a lot of sitting.

Not bad for the price...

The Mainstays Leather Mid-Back Office Chair is a decent chair. Assembly was clear by the instructions. It took me less than an hour to fully assemble and I am not the best or quickest at assembly. Everything was wrapped individually and the fasteners packet was clearly marked and noted in the instructions. The hardest part was the armrests and after a little adjusting they turned out great as well.

The chair has memory foam which makes for a comfortable seat and back. The leather is bonded and looks quite classy in an office setting. The armrests are padded and are noted to be ergonomically placed. They are at a comfortable position and level. The chair moves easily over my hard floors but I can not speak to how they would roll on a carpeted surface. There is also a lever to adjust the height and allow for tilt. It is a mid-back chair so the back only goes to right below the shoulders.

I personally did not care for this chair, but only because I prefer a “bigger” seat base. This chair let me know that my high back chair is better for me. I ended up giving this chair to my daughter for use at her desk. It’s perfect for her because it fits under her desk and the seat base really fits her better. This should not be a deal breaker for anyone thought because it is all in preference. I just really felt like I had no “wiggle” room while sitting in this. The tilt is very tight at the moment, but I know with use it’ll loosen up some. I felt like I had to really push back to get it to tilt. My daughter really likes this chair. She works on her computer a lot and she says it doesn’t make her rear end hurt like her old chair did. The memory foam is really a great part of the chair.

Overall, I would recommend it just be sure you absolutely do not want a higher back or a bigger seat width.
