About

Dragged Under On Tour

Seattle punk rockers Dragged Under burst onto the scene with their debut album, The World Is In Your Way, in early 2020. While the band initially released the album independently, Mascot Records put out the deluxe version later that year and it has been streamed on Spotify more than 10 million times since then.

Influenced by bands including Rise Against, Sum 41 and The Offspring, Dragged Under make some of the most ambitious melodic thrash punk in recent memory.

On the heels of a successful North American tour with The Used in late 2020 and dates opening for Beartooth and Wage War in 2021, Dragged Under will headline several dates across the U.S. Grab your tickets now before you miss the chance to catch their raucous and cathartic live shows.

Dragged Under Live in Concert

Rising from the ashes of alt-rock band Rest, Repose in early 2019, frontman Anthony Cappocchi and guitarists Ryan Bruce and Josh Wildhorn formed Dragged Under. Their first album, The World Is In Your Way, featured several songs that were written by Rest, Repose but were scrapped and given new life as material for their new project, Dragged Under.

Clearly hungry to make a serious go of it in their new incarnation, the band worked hard to self-release The World Is In Your Way in January 2020, attracting the attention of independent rock label Mascot Records, which signed the band soon after.

The band's anthemic pop punk caught on fast and they soon found themselves touring with notable acts including The Used, Beartooth and Wage War.

In summer 2021, Dragged Under released a new single, "Brainwash Broadcast," featuring Spencer Chamberlain of Underoath.

A sophomore album wasn't far behind. Released on Mascot in June 2022, Upright Animals sees the band tackling weighty themes including class and racial divides in America. Frontman Cappocchi said of his inspiration for the album: "A lot of enlightenment still needs to happen before we can consider ourselves anything other than animals walking around on their hind legs. That's what the album is about."

    Absolute best live show ever!

by TheBaconator on 9/13/22The Masquerade - Purgatory - Atlanta

Dragged Under know how to put on a show! From the crowd interaction to the lighting, I went to see them live for the first time last week and it was an absolute blast. Also the fact that they stuck around after playing and actually went around and talked to their fans was really icing on the cake, you walk up to these guys to meet them and they just start talking to you like you’ve known them your whole life, truly amazing! I cannot wait to see them next time!

    Best live experience in years

This is the second time I’ve seen dragged under - 3rd if you include when I saw rest, repose with Tony on vocals. There’s always two things you can expect at a dragged under show 1) amazing sound quality at any venue size because they’re good musicians playing good songs using modern gear and 2) ENGERY - regardless of venue size or crowd size. They bring it. Every. Time.
