Does this particular Cameo 4 come with the cutting mat and usb cord?

I tried both this and the Cricut, and my take is that if you are at all technically minded, and you don't mind learning a new software, then the Silhouette machines are much more capable and you'll get a lot more out of them. 

If you're planning on making sticker sheets, the Silhouette is the only option becuase the print and cut feature on the Cricut machines is extremely limiting. 

I'd only recommend the Cricut for someone who only wants to cut out single color vinyl shapes and letters.  Anything past that, go with Silhouette.   It's worth spending more money.

Much better software and feature set than Cricut.

if you're into crafting and making your own decals, this is a great machine!  there is a learning curve but youtube will help you get your bearings.

Cameo Rocks!

Great value

Been a long time cricut owner for years until my cricut maker less than 3 years stopped working due to faulty roller issue. Decided to switch to the silhouette. My first print and cut came out amazing without having to calibrate. Excited to learn and use this machine more.

Great purchase with fast delivery!

So far GOOD! MUCH better than CRICUT! You can get the Free Basic Software or you can purchase the FULL software package for less than $100
Cricut makes you pay monthly for theirs, and if you cancel your subscription, you have to pay to get your saved files back.

MUCH BETTER THAN CRICUT!!!

Has trouble connecting to Bluetooth occasionally but I use the USB that comes with it when that happens.

little loud. but overall does job well. the mat is not sticky after couple using. and doesn't work with cricut vinyl at all.

Long time silhouette owner here, I've had a cameo 2 since 2017 and a cameo 3 last year and now this cameo 4. I'm pretty disappointed in this new one. 

The good:
-It's faster
-Separate channel for using pens

The bad:
-It has a high pitched hiss noise when the machine is on, even when it isn't cutting.
-they got rid of the screen, so you cannot press “repeat job”, you have to go back to the computer to repeat. Cameo 3 can do “repeat job”
-Bluetooth doesn't work
-half the time when I send a job to the cutter, it tells me the tool could not be detected. The new model has a sensor to know what tool is being used but this causes me more troubles and slows down my work flow.

I need another one to keep up with orders but I think I'd rather get a used Cameo 3 for $100 rather than this.

This is a downgrade from the last model

it wasnt cutting my paper all the way through, even after having cut the same type of paoer right before (same papper settings). when it did cut it qasnt aligned.  extremely loud machine
