Coming from traditional tv to this is an adjustment but I'm getting the hang of it; beats the high cost of cable. It has soooo many apps to use. The color quality on a HD TV is superb. I like the voice command function.

Quick Processor makes for Fast Boot Up, and Gorgeous pictures in HDR via YouTube! The 4K voice controls are getting better all the time. Switch between HDMI connections, Lookup titles, Check weather on all fire stick 4K's Superior searching compared to ROKU and other voice platforms. HERE'S A FUN TIP: Change your LANGUAGE SETTINGS use a different ENGLISH vocal platform ie. UK - you will get a pleasant and different voice inflection plus the 4k unit replies differently than the U.S. settings Highly recommended over other streaming purchase options vs PRICE. ~ SMK

- A:Answer The Fire Stick alone doesn't replace cable but it enables you to subscribe to streaming services such as Hulu. Hulu Live at $40 per month gives you everything that Direct TV gives you for over $100 per month. You need a strong wifi signal which you can guarantee with the Google wifi 3 pack for one time cost of $250. Its a miracle device. What are you waiting for?

- A:Answer I just want to correct an incorrect statement in a previous response. The 4K model will work with any HD TV. A 4K is not required according to Amazon's own website description which says " or 2) high-definition TVs with HDMI capable of 1080p or 720p at 50/60 Hz". I don't have 4K but want this model because it controls the TV's power and volume via buttons or Alexa for the popular TV brands.

- A:Answer You do NOT need a 4K tv to use the 4K firestick. This 4K firestick has a faster processor and more buffering ram than the 2nd gen firestick. The stick is awesome and runs about 15% faster than the last model.

- A:Answer It has the same core memory as the 2nd Gen Fire Stick, but about 220 mb less to access. It uses a couple of Amazon device exclusive apps like Live Cast and the Entertainment Device app which take up some of that memory.
