How does this new model compare to previous versions?

The 2020 iPad Pro has been created with a 7MP front facing lens and 12MP Wide + 10MP Ultra Wide rear cameras, which combined with a large display, speedy performance and highly calibrated sensors can help you capture the perfect photo or video. Along with studio quality microphones and four speaker audio, you can even set up a multi-camera filmmaking rig.

LiDAR Scanner
The handy, custom-designed LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) is ready to analyse distance by measuring how long it takes light to reach an object (from up to five meters away) and reflect back. It opens up huge possibilities for augmented reality and beyond.

USB-C connector
The 2020 iPad Pro features a USB-C connector rather than the Lightning port found on previous models. It gives you a high-performance connection to accessories like external displays and cameras, and means you can output 4K HDR content.

Super cellular
