I bought this to flat iron my bangs, but it was great for travel too. It took longer to do my hair with this. It got almost as hot as my regular flat iron, but of course I could only do smaller pieces at a time.

I loved the size of this straightener but the 3rd time i used it it started sparking from the metal plate. Thank God it didn't light my hair since it sparked big enough to leave a black mark on the white plate
