Works and it is easy to clean and seems built very well

Great tool

We like that this chopper's body and blades are made of stainless steel. It chops well with the blades. We gave this an average review because of two problems. The metal cover for the blades keeps falling out whenever we unscrew the top from the base. The base cup has a removable bottom, which is great if you are copping on a cutting board where you don't need the bottom. However, the bottom sometimes comes off after we remove the top, which spills the contents in the base. Both the metal chopping guide and the bottom on the base should be tighter.

Good for chopping with some caveats

It is serviceable and works. For me a little difficult to put back together after cleaning. But based on the cost it meets the need.

Basic and serviceable

The bottom piece does not stay on. I do not like to always use a cutting board if I am just chopping garlic. Either I have a defective chopper or the design is defective. I would appreciate a response from Cuisinart.

Disappointing

Second one we had.  First one handle broke at screw connection.  Second one did the same two months later while chopping onions.  Seems to be a very weak connection.

My 15 yo Pampered Chef chopper finally bit the dust. I ordered the Cuisinart one because of the brand. BIG mistake. The bowl is way too small. You can't get the chopper clean despite putting it in the dish washer. I threw the packaging out because I THOUGHT it would be great. It's not. I've already ordered and received the Pampered Chef version - MUCH better option.
