yes it is, it is also oven safe. it says so on the actual dishes and the box.

It says right on the bottom that it is. I have to take the manufacturer's guarantee at face value.

Yes, microwave and dishwasher safe. They're also supposed to be oven safe to 350 degrees I believe.

No, not the same design, but same brand comes in different colors i own a brown set in Gibson. White looks very nice.

I love this set.  It arrived quickly and was packaged extremely well.  I agree with some other reviewers that it's not perfect but for the price I'm not going to complain.  I looked at a similar set at Target recently and it was nearly triple the price.  The larger bowls are perfect size for cereal or soup. I'd recommend this to a friend and I'd buy it again.

We needed something that would look great for Christmas, that was inexpensive and would feed more than 3. Thats what we got with this purchase. Everyone loved the look of this set and it is very durable. We had a very nice holiday using this set everyday my in-laws were here with us. Thank you Walmart.

Classic beauty

I have a couple issues, like: the mug is very small than I thought.. you can see by photo - I used a normal mug we buy at Walmart store to compare. And unfortunately I got one of those sauce cup broken (which I don't know how?! Cause was very good packaging) I got some plates with some imperfections… you see on photos… but
Anyway I'm in love with this new set I got, I think the design is beautiful and it shines all over. I can't wait to use it. And plus, was delivered so fast!

Very nice set

Two plates came chipped. I notified the company they are sending out a new set. I returned the damaged set. Pretty set!

Pretty dish set

One of the large bowls was chipped when it arrived. I looked for the chip but it wasn't in the box. So it must have been packed that way.  My family needed the dish set so returning it would have caused more problems for us.  I called customer service which put me into a que to get a call back.  NOTHING!.  I just wanted that one bowl replaced.  I still haven't received a call about the order. 
It bothers me that Walmart sells things that can't always be replaced.    Perhaps I should have sent them back but then we would have to eat on paper plates until another set arrived and who knows what that set would be like.  All I want is a call.

Poor customer service.
