ARS KR1000 Ultra Light Professional Hedge Shears
From garden tool specialists ARS, these multi purpose shears are ideal for a range of tasks around the garden, from trimming thick hedges, to edging lawns, to fine topiary work. The shears' corrosion resistant, chrome plated carbon steel blades are 2mm wider than those found on the previous model, for enhanced strength & endurance. Of considerable advantage are the shears' handles, constructed from an ultra low density composite material to keep them lightweight & easy to control. This combination of reduced overall weight & tough blade design makes for comfortable, fatigue free cutting, without any sacrifice to the longevity of the tool. Comfort is also improved by advanced design ergonomics, & enlarged shock absorbers to prevent strain, even with prolonged use. Specifications Features and Benefits

Excellent long-handled shears for pruning. I’m quite petite, so didn’t want anything heavy. They’re very sharp and cut beautifully.
Excellent Shears. So light and incredibly sharp so they cut through bushes like butter. They’re ideal if you’re not super strong, as the blades are incredibly effective. Very light! Easy to use if you’re a beginner too, and very precise cutting.

Wonderful, but could do with a guide as to when to tighten up the blades.
Early days yet, shears are very light and very sharp. All parts replaceable, which is useful for long term use. Well engineered tool, which gives me great pleasure when using them.
The best hand shears I have owned by far. Super lightweight and razer sharp. I liked mine so much I have purchased 2 more from Tooled Up to give as presents to elderly relatives.
