Arrived broken… twice!NeilI’ll start by saying that I really like this lamp. Looks cool, good light quality, etc.
However, we ordered this lamp to be shipped to our house and it arrived completely smashed, and got glass dust and shards all over our table and floor. IKEA sent a replacement, which also arrived completely smashed. This glass lamp is basically packaged in two plies of lightly wrapped tissue paper. We ended up making the trek to our nearest store to pick it up in person. While this was inconvenient, I’m more bothered by the waste- two lamps in the trash without ever being used. I would highly discourage anyone from ordering this item to be shipped.

The glass covering the lightbulb is far from perfect and has many imperfections in its finish, either "bald spots" or specks with too much finish. This is very disappointing and I can spot them from the other side of my living room.

Absolutely love itAshlieI was really drawn to the look of this lamp. I love the beige base and mushroom style globe. I also love being able to use a regular bulb in it. I’m using a smart color bulb in it and really enjoy all the different vibes I can create with it. It fits perfectly on my mantle and the long fabric cord makes it easy to plug in anywhere. We will be enjoying this lamp for a long time!
damaged upon arrival MihoSimilar to a previous reviewer, I ordered the lamp for delivery because it was unavailable at my Ikea location. Despite the fragile stickers on the box, it was poorly packaged and the base of the lamp was completely shattered when opened. It’s no longer available for delivery and out of stock still at my Ikea. Truly disappointed.

Wish they did a better job shippingMichaelThe bottom portion of the lamp was cracked during shipping. There were several items in my order and whoever packed them did an EXTREMELY poor job. The box had absolutely no filler to help with being slammed around by FedEx. And now the lamp is no longer available for shipping/delivery, which means a three hour drive to my closest store. For a company with such well-designed objects, with well-designed individual packaging for their products, their packaging for shipments is severely lacking.

Just like I envisioned!JeffreyI bought two of these lamps for my living room. I currently have three Ikea floor lamps in the room with Hue White bulbs and wanted to use these table lamps flanking the couch as accents. I also bought two Hue White Ambience bulbs for them.
These Dejsa lamps are very nice and look great, just like I envisioned. They looked big at first, but once in place, they fit very well and added a modern touch to very eclectic decor. The Hue bulbs work well here too and can be dimmed and changed to fit the mood.
One caution here with the Lamps. They are all glass including the bottoms and so can slide around very easily. I cut some round shelf liner rubber material to fit and solved the problem (they have stayed in place, no accidents!)
Buy them, you really can't go wrong.

What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda, and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
