    Wrong Start Time

by Sad Fan on 2/19/24The Foundry - Philadelphia

Everything posted about this concert said doors open at 6 and the show starts at 7. I arrived about 7:05. The second band started around 7:15. I have no idea when the show actually started but missed a chance to see the opener who is an international band that does not get to tour the states very often. It was an extremely disappointing experience to miss an entire set because no Live Nation and the Foundry didn't post accurate times.

    Great Band, Great Performers

by Jared D on 2/17/24Gramercy Theatre - New York

Holding Absence is an amazing band in studio and they’re just as good live, bringing incredible energy to their performance. My wife and I had an absolute blast listening to them for the first time, and I nearly blew my own voice out singing the lyrics to every one of their songs. Lucas was recovering from blowing his own voice at a prior performance and was visually hurting when hitting some of the notes that he belts out, so the performance was understandably cut short for his own health, but the entire band was still spectacular live. As a Holding Absence mega fan I’ll definitely try to see them every time they’re in NY!

    Excellent show!

by Garrett on 2/12/24The Shelter - Detroit

All of the bands that played were great, the crew was efficient in setting up between bands, the show was affordable, drinking water was easily accessible, and the security did a great job of managing the crowd.

This was my second time seeing Holding Absence, and with the 100+ bands I’ve seen live, they have got to be one of the best. They pack so much energy and love into their performances. Go see them :)

    A Favorite Show

by RR on 1/29/24Marquis - Denver

This was an incredible performance, as always, but somehow they get better every time. I’ve been to a lot of shows but this takes a place as one of my favorites.

    AMAZING

    by Poison on 1/21/24

I honestly initially only went to their show last night because Capstan was opening for them and I love Capstan. But, Holding Absence is SO AMAZING!! The lead vocalist’s voice is beautiful and they have such fun, inspiring guitar riffs that I want to learn! My best friend came to the show with me and she loved them too! We wanted to buy merch so bad but we were too broke. 😭 I really hope they come back to LA soon! After the show, all my best friend did was rant about how amazing their energy and playing was and how she can’t wait to see them again. Everyone should go see them, it’s a wonderful experience! Can’t wait to buy all their LPs! And their merch when it’s back in stock online!
