I read one review after another claiming that these freezers are damaged most likely in factory.  Its too good of a deal to pass up so i took a chance. The FedEx guy unloaded it by hand without any difficulty.  He says they weigh around 80 lbs.  Its in pristine condition.  The only questionable thing I saw was that there was tape reinforcing the top of the box.  Maybe there could be an issue with boxes opening because not enough tape was used.  I dont know.  There was thick styrofoam protecting the freezer on all sides with an added piece of wood on the top an bottom.  Im including a pic of the perfect item just because.  So many dissatified people, so little pics of damaged items.  Seems odd.

Suspicious of negative reviews

The freezer takes up very little room and meets my expectations.   I process alot of meals for both myself and my dogs.
The top shelf currently has 14 2lb quart baggies of ground chicken and 4 quart baggies of drumstick/thigh knuckles.  It also holds the black bento boxes, 9 per shelf with room for other small tupperware.

6.5 cuft upright freezer

I mean, not bad for $198 rollback in 2024. First, I ordered the $290 Arctic King just like this but returned it because it was falsely advertised as being frost-free. Plugging this Frigidaire in, I was taken aback by how loud it is comparatively. It has a humming/vibration sound to it. My SO said it might be because there is cooling on each shelf %26 the other fridge had glass shelves instead of coils under each shelf like this one? I was luckier than some reviewers on here in that the box/product was not damaged. It was even delivered right-side-up, unlike the Arctic King (which didn't break it, luckily). It was a hassle returning the first freezer, true, but if we stop asking for refunds, they will never start treating these deliveries with more care. Good buy if money is tight. If you're comfortable spending more, then I recommend looking for something better. I'll try to remember to update this review after having it longer.

Good value, but it hums

I like the freezer. It's just that I got it today and opened it and there's a dent in bottom back corner and a scratch on top. I called right away walmart. Got this text thing to chat. Getting no where and different people to chat with. They finally tell me to call the warranty company. Which tells me they don't cover dents. Call Wal-Mart back. Or Frigidaire. Or I can return it. I had it delivered for reason. Just frustrating. I would even take a discount on it just so I don't have to hassle with finding away to get it back to walmart. No one seems to be able to work something out. It's not a bad little freezer. It fits what I need. I plugged it in it works great. The looks and the shelves I really 2 thumbs up. It's just the dent.

I have been searching for an upright affordable freezer for awhile, so when I received an email on my search from Walmart I was overjoyed. I jumped at the bargain price, it was a little bigger than I wanted but I decided to get it. Up on delivery after unpacking I realized it was a MANUAL DEFROSTING freezer. Not what I wanted or searched for. I was disappointed. So I contacted Walmart for a return. The CS agent (Bryan) was very pleasant and resolved my problem in a very agreeable way…. I will get a full refund. Thanks to Walmart and their effective CS associates.

Manual defrost (not stated in description)

you freezer itself is okay but I thought I bought a brand new freezer and there's dense large dents that I can send pictures which I can see where I can add the photos and I will. I feel like I got to use freezer because of all the dents on it. I'm just thankful that it's going in my laundry room and very few people will see it.  fedex messages dropped it off the back of their truck and it landed on my cement stairs outside. that's where I believe all the dents came from but it's Dents and scratch. other than that, I think I'm going to like it, but there's some nasty dents on it.

If there's a zero star, I would rate it as zero. Big dent and missing parts. The box came in all beat up. Contacted customer service and was transferred to different agents and was lied someone will contact me in 48 hrs. 5 days later nothing. Contact them again with no help. They want me to return the item to the store. I don't have the means of returning it back that's why I had it delivered.

Big dent and missing parts

First: in my delivery instructions I specifically say where to place my deliveries and Walmart never get it correctly and they seem to have not passed on that information to FedEx either. 
Second: I come home at 7pm and when I got it inside and opened the box (which looked like it was a Dr Frankenstein project, taped up all on one corner where someone opened it) the freezer had a slight dent on the lower end of the door, and a very significant dent/damage to the rear right side. I read everywhere and there's nothing stating I purchased a scratch and dent. I need someone to contact me on this asap.

Very disappointed

Arrived damaged, didn't realize it till hours later after I took out of box and let it sit before plugging in.  I already ripped box up for recycling so I can't return.  Frigidaire packaged this with a small dent as there were no visible damage to box.  The other Frigidaire fridge next to it arrived with no damage.  Neither Walmart or Frigidaire will do anything.  Also, freezer has NO controls for air/temp and door is NOT swappable for left/right opening.
