This classic, steamer basket design is taken to new levels of practicality and convenience with this colorful, contemporary version. Great product! But you might want to ajust the intructions printed on the carton, at least the german ones. It reads "nicht für die Verwendung in Pfannen und Woks geeignet" (not suitable for use in pans and woks). But then the following sentence reads: "...Wasserstand in der Pfanne..." (...water Level in the pan..). In the english Version the distinction is made between frying pan (not to be used) and pan (should be used). But in german there are no two words like this. "Pfanne" (pan) always meens frying pan. Therefore I would strongly recommend the word pan be changed to "Topf" (pot/ pan) in the german Version! Except for the "don't use"-part, there "Pfanne" (fying pan) should remain. This would fix the mix up... Best regards

Seems to be would use for a long time

The Bloom Folding Steamer Basket is a joy to use. Allows for steaming vegetables, etc. to avoid loss of nutrients. And some people even drink the water left over to gain even more nutrients. Tom

Does the job really well! Only disadvantage is it kinds of folds in on itself so it's hard to move the vegetables around so it cooks evenly.

Great looking piece of kit - looks robust. Unfortunately too tall to fit my AGA pans with recess lids so currentlly unable to use.

Nice design but doesn't fit my pans

So disappointed with the style of this steamer basket which did not fit any of my saucepans. The shape and style meant it did not fan out sufficiently to enable veg such as tenderstem to even fit within the basket, it was just too enclosed. Sadly had to return for refund.
