2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition Double Gold Medal Winner
A fusion of unique and rare elements, and clouded in secrecy, Signet is the culmination of a lifetime's experience. A blend of ourGlenmorangie's oldest whisky and spirit matured in a selection of the world's finest casks, this undoubtedly is the richest whisky in our range. Of course, whilst the exact secrets of its production are known only to their whisky creators, they can tell you that Signet's melting sweetness and explosive spiciness is, at least in part, caused by our unique roasted 'chocolate' barley malt and the 'designer casks' made bespoke for Glenmorangie from American white oak.
Aromas of strong Aruba espresso fused with a treacly plum pudding, rich with sherry, and candied orange peel. The taste is a contrast of rich sweetness with an explosive crackle of sizzling spices and bitter mocha. The finish, a fresh spring-like breeze of mint with a bright citrus lemony-green quality.

Wine Enthusiast
This dark and luscious spirit is made using “high roast” malted barley to coax out chocolate and espresso flavors, then married with other “rare and ancient” whiskies. The end result is a burnished copper glow, intense toffee aroma, resonating espresso, nut and toasty oak flavors and a lingering cinnamon-clove finish. Each sip warms all the way down. A soft, warm spirit in glossy, gift-worthy packaging.

Whisky Advocate
An innovative offering made with a proportion of chocolate malt and matured in virgin American oak. Some of the component whiskies are between 35 and 40 years old. Milk chocolate, honey, orange marmalade, sultanas, and spice on the inviting nose. The palate is rich and full, with malt, dates, Jaffa oranges, dark chocolate, and coffee beans. Long and spicy in the drying finish. Glenmorangie at its very best.

Tasting Panel
Soft, full-bodied, and elegant; mellow and smooth with toasty oak, spice, and vanilla. Balanced and deeply layered, this is a precise and complex knockout from this storied distiller.
After spending 17 years as a whisky distiller, William Matheson left his job and sought to start his own distillery. His vision was to create an exceptional, exquisitely smooth whisky.
In 1843, his vision became a reality when he took over the Morangie farm and founded Glenmorangie.
Originally 16 men, an unbroken chain of experts worked together to craft Glenmorangie through the centuries. These men passed down their knowledge and expertise of the heralded Single Malt from generation to generation. This time-honored tradition preserved the quintessential Single Malt of Scotland.
In the far north of Scotland, near the ancient Royan Burgh of Tain, lies Glenmorangie. 'The Glen of Tranquility' where malt whisky has been distilled since it began. The distillery has an air of timelessness; the methods and craft they employ today differ little from those of their forbears.
