However, if used to clean the interior of the freshwater holding tank, you will need to rinse thoroughly with potable water to ensure all traces of the product have been removed. After rinsing you will need to sanitize the tank before refilling.

Great product!

This product worked great on my grill. I admitting needed multiple applications, but we are talking 6+ years of grease buildup. Just used the product, some towels, and standard grill cleaning brushes, sponges. Definitely recommend!!

Grill/Smoker Cleaning Products

Ecolab degreaser does an excellent job on light to moderate grease removal. Performed well on smoker and grill parts with moderate grease buildup. Heavy, baked on grease required scraping and moderate manual removal techniques. Very pleasant smell and although recommend protective gloves it was mild to unprotected skin. Did not use on engine parts or where petroleum products required cleaning. Did a good job on components which had 12 months of build up.

Great product by Ecolab

Very easy to use, once you read the label on the top of the sprayer head. Push the white little tab down at the top of that sprayer head and the spray head rotates fairly easy to the spray position. Sprays a nice consistent pattern. I used it on the top of my smoker, which was pretty nasty. Sprayed and let it set for 2 minutes, then wiped it off. Look at the before and after pics. Especially the round chrome smoke vent. Cleaned up the smoke and grease extremely well.

Not for extreme jobs

Initially I thought the fragrance was very pleasant for a degreaser. Then i set out to tackle a mess in a toaster oven that is probably considered extreme. What i discovered is that an extreme job like this will require multiple applications and extreme elbow grease. Moving to an oven (just as extreme) I had the same results which was a little disappointing. Next test was a stainless trash can with grime spilled in it. This cleaned up easily. I think light to medium jobs are best suited fir this.

Didnt Work

I had high hopes for the EcoLab degreaser but I was heavily disappointed. To be fair, I was using it on a heavy cleaning job, an uncared for rental I was trying to rehab. It really didnt touch the grease and left everything looking like when I started. The knobs ended up needing soaking in the pink degreaser sold right next to this product. There wasnt even a dent made with this spray. I feel it's good for recent spills, to clean up with a little more power after cooking but I dont see it for actual degreasing cleaning.

A degreaser that works!

I was a bit wary of this "heavy-duty citrus" degreaser. I have some really tough grease areas in my kitchen that needs cleaning and your normal cleansers that are available at your local hardware or supermarket store have not helped. I gave this a try and it worked admirably! It was able to easily get most (approximately 98%) of the grease off the glass cylinder shade of my track lights in my kitchen (see pictures). I sprayed it on and let it soak for around a minute and then wiped the grease off with a clean paper towel. It also has a pleasant smell. It didn't smell like your normal harsh cleansers.

Really powerful

This Heavy duty Citrus Degreaser and Cleaner is no joke. It loosens up grime quickly. It does have a pleasant citrus aroma, but if you use a lot of it in a small space, it quickly becomes overwhelming and not fun to be around. I am learning that I don't need to use near as much as my eyes suggest I do. There are several warnings on the label about skin irritation, and this was quickly proven to be true, but the good news is that it washes off easily with soap and water which completely removed the irritation for me. I think I saw this also came in a refill sized bottle, so I think I will get that when this runs out..

Does what it claims

I was curious about the company name. "Eco..." ...nomical... it's certainly reasonably priced, especially when compared to other degreasers. "... logical... I looked at the ingredients and saw a few familiar words, but also some long compound words accompanied by numbers, as in " ...lab." I ran a simple test. I went to the business side of my range hood and found a heavy build up of grease. I gave it a spray and wiped it after a minute. (Just as the instructions direct.) 90% clean! No scrubbing, no abrasives (so important these days of sensitive stainless steel).

Great cleaner

I really like this ECOLAB Heavy duty Citrus Degreaser and Cleaner. First off this cleaner is ready to use. You simply turn on the nozzles d spray directly onto the surface. Let it set a few seconds and wipe off, yes, that easy. For heavier soils you let sit for One Minute and wipe off. This spray is not harsh smelling and does not burn you eyes or lungs during use, it actually has a nice citrus smell and leaves a nice scent after use. This has a wide range of uses, Automotive, industrial, commercial, home use or and other types of heavy duty, or light duty cleaning. This can be used on Grills, countertops, Heavy machinery, Floors, walls, and safe for use on aluminum as well, oh yeah, and it’s Made right here in the USA . This stuff works well, but it and use with confidence.
