    Our Golden loved this chew toy. She'd run around and fling it in the air; loved the noise it made. She's seven months now and we had to throw it away last week. She bit down just right and got the star shape wedged behind both of her lower canine teeth. We were able to use a small hacksaw to cut through the hard plastic to remove the toy from her mouth (took about 30 minutes but felt like hours!). A fluke I'm sure, but just be aware as your pup gets older and their jaw changes in size. We would purchase this product again if another pup joined us.

    Got this toy because it was recommended by a blog to be a good puppy toy. I wanted to make sure I had enough toys around for my puppy that she would not chew on things other than her toys. It is made out of a really hard plastic material, and is almost comparable to a baby link toy (not for chewing).

    She barely plays with this toy. I have tried to get her to play with it and she just does not like it. She will bite it once then drop it. I have tried to get her to play tug-o-wag or fetch with this too and she has no interest in it. I am not sure if it has to do with how hard it is. She likes to play with rope and rubber toys and likes to chew on sticks and rawhide.

    My puppy not liking this toy could be a personal preference of hers, but I have no other dog to compare it to. So for us, this toy is a dud. It does not get played with.

I think the different connected pieces keeps him stimulated, he'll go between each of them while he's chewing.
