I just returned from a trip to Portugal and this jacket made the trip with me. I am ever so thankful I bought it. It is roomy enough for a vest underneath and a raincoat over it. The sleeves are long on me but I simply rolled the up. The string waistband is a good addition to bringing the jacket closer to your body. The color is great! It goes with everything. I washed it ahead of time and threw it in the dryer and it came perfectly. The snaps instead of buttons? Good idea! All around a good investment and it will see me through for quite sometime.

I think it's unnecessary to carry a purse when you have good pockets. this has four sturdy close-able pockets. The fabric is substantial yet the surface is brushed and pleasantly soft. I also wear it walking the dog in the woods here; I can carry leash, tissues, hat, gloves...It's really flattering and good looking.
